Well,

We are almost done with this portion of the remodeling- Kev just needs to put in the colored grout. Then, we need to work on the fireplace area. Then Howmar Carpeting will be thrilled to get our carpet installed I am sure! It looks rather different than the earlier blog that the kids were tearing up. We made it a much larger area. I told Kev- if these tiling jobs turn out good, I may have to have him do the kitchen- HA!

Taking the Plunge

Kevin has never been follicly challenged but has spent many years whining and threatening he was going to shave it all off! So I called him on it and said "go ahead". This freaked him out a little and wondered why all of a sudden I was agreeable. Then he was hesitent and was stalling for a couple of days while the kids begged him just to do it. So finally he did and this is what we got. Not terrible, but different. Now the kids say he will need to buy a wig for the 80's party as now he hasn't appropriate hair.
